Parsonian Nears Completion

The massive renovation project at the former Parsonian Hotel, 1725 Broadway, in downtown Parsons is progressing as planned, and the senior apartment complex will accept its first tenants on June 1.

Some potential renters will have the opportunity to view completed model units during a block party Flint Hills Holdings, owner of The Parsonian, plans to host on April 22 in the 100 block of South 18th.

Former KC Hospital Will Transform Into $40M Senior Community

Research Medical Center, part of HCA Midwest Health, has selected Kansas City developer Tony Krsnich and his Flint Hills Holdings partnership to redevelop the former Baptist-Lutheran Medical Center hospital tower into a high-end continuum-of-care community for seniors.

The 10-story, 400,000-square-foot tower is on the 25-acre Research Medical Center Brookside Campus, which HCA renamed in 2006, at 6601 Rockhill Road.

Plans filed for new office development in Warehouse Arts District; developer hopes to add row house project to area in 2016; update on East Lawrence bistro

It seems demand is increasing for a funky vibe at the office, but, no, that smell that’s coming from the break room fridge doesn’t qualify. Instead, I’m talking about office space in an arts-oriented district. The developer of East Lawrence’s Warehouse Arts District has filed plans to add more offices to the area.

Western Insurance Building Owner Explains Plans

The Western Building was once a vital part of downtown Fort Scott and will be again by the end of 2016, according to Tony Krsnich during a press conference Monday morning.

Krsnich is the CEO for Flint Hills Holdings, the development company that has been working with the City of Fort Scott for 1.5 years on plans to rehabilitate the Western Building into apartments for persons 55 years and older.

Flint Hills to Revitalize Baldwin City Historic Schoolhouse

BALDWIN CITY — The Baldwin City Council voted unanimously Monday to support a plan to redevelop the former junior high school on Chapel Street into 30 apartments.

Flint Hills Holdings Group LLC asked the city to support the plan as it prepares application for historical preservation tax credits from the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation. The deadline for applications for the tax credits is Friday.
